This Season Is the Reason For Hope
To my Christian brethren, may you have a wonderful Easter Sunday as we celebrate the rising of our Lord and our reconciliation to God. For while Christ died for our sins, it is the Resurrection that gives us our hope. What can I say, eternal life rocks!
To my Jewish friends and readers, I hope your celebration of Passover was everything you wanted it to be.
For those who do not celebrate the holidays of the past week, I wish you peace and value your friendship through blogging.
He has risen, indeed!

Same to you, Kim. As a non-practicing Jew raised with Easter and Christmas as secular holidays, me feelings about such days are mixed, but I enjoy the sentiments of such even if I don't connect with the "original" meanings......
As for Easter, I tend to go for the more pagan underpinnings, myself.
Happy happy.
Thanks, Kim.

Happy Easter & Passover!
And Happy Cadbury Creme Eggs That Go On Sale Monday!
Nice.
Reminds me of Mom. When we were kids, she would throw open the doors to our bedrooms and gleefully call out, He is risen! We were trained to spring happily from our beds and call back, He is risen indeed, before hunting for our Easter baskets.
As you can imagine, this didn't go over well when we were hungover teens.
Happy Easter, Kim. Beautiful picture.
Kim,
I know it is past Easter, but I only just started blogging. I wantto say it wasa very special picture and thought about Jesus's Resurrection. I wish more people would recognize this.

I am inspired by this piece. I just have to share that it is the very meaning of Easter which has driven my entire career which started a LONG time ago in 1984! I am SOO passionate about my calling that I was DRIVEN to write about it in a book. It's called "Nurses Are From Heaven". It shows how Nursing is a special calling and that nurses stay in their work in spite of all the lack of recognition and appreciation. My faith is so intertwined with my work that they are interdependent. Sincerely- I do
thank you for all your contributions to our great profession and may God bless you in all you do.
